Another foot

For those of you keeping score overseas, we've had another foot wash up on shore.

Its been very hot lately. Today's high is supposed to be 34 degrees, which could set records for this area. All night I dreampt about Vegemite. For breakfast I had three pieces of toast with butter and vegemite and now my tummy is happy :)

Shannon & Jaime - Moving Trip from Hell

So imagine your moving an entire apartment and your mover doesn't turn up (or call or return phone calls). Our arms are now several feet longer. But we are now in a nice apartment with a gorgeous view.

Shannon - Tired.

Very tired this morning after the absolutely awesome VNV Nation show last night. There should be a rule about good shows not being scheduled mid-week - it's going to be a long day at work today.

Shannon: A new apartment: Take 2

So we decided our new apartment was just too yucky to stay in. So we're moving on Oct 1 to an apartment in mum's building. It'll be more expensive, but not as much as we were paying in the last place. Plus we'll be across the street from the beach, on the twentieth floor. We can practically see Australia from there.

Still feeling pretty glum about my surroundings. Going to my first pilates class in aeons tonight - hoping it will lift my mood somewhat.
