What I did on my Christmas Holidays

I had visitors, they rafted for 10 days in the wilderness, ate loads of chocolate and smeared litres of sunscreen on themselves... they returned, we saw art, Serious MONA art, With arty wine... I realised I missed Hive chats so am now reading Hive blogs.

BMW

Went to the launch of the new 1 series last night. Weird mindless champagne-fueled fun of lookign at shiny motor vehicles, odd alien-like models in bizzare shoes and peopel who can or pretend to be able to afford hideously expensive vehicles. Could have left it at that, but then my date won one of the shiny specimens for the weekend. I reckon we're goign down to mogo. Pic of me in said vehicle on FB. SHINY!

Finally made it to the lindt cafe. Hot chocolate is decadently decadent. Cake is far smaller than the ad led me to believe. Still yum though - chocolate cerise -

Does one celebrate getting significantly old or rejoice? I've usually gone for a big party to forget the misery. But this year, for the significant one... I am uninspired. so sad...
