The electronic topo maps have arrived from the gps shop! I can't wait to try them out. *Finally* If this works, I 'll have a map with a little arrow on it that says: you-are-here.

Got a new laptop with a digital tv tuner. wondered why I couldn't pick up any tv signals even when I scanned twice. Then realised I had plugged the aerial cord into the power supply input.

Kit: New toy

Bought new GPS toy. Shiny! Already it has told me bad things (like I drive too fast, and my average lunchtime walking speed around the paddock is 6km/h).
