YL - um big weekend hangover

man that was one big long weekend. 4 day weekend = rocks! I was so busy that I didnt really stop for very long. "Yes" to catching up with friends, going to the pub, socialising, meeting with renovator & doing different things. "No" to getting furniture given to Psych ward, being efficient/productive, sleeping much. Lol.

YL - coffee and strings

Blah. Got confirmation for trial violin lesson in Coffs on Mon evening but snapped my A string trying to tune it tonight! Grrrr. Need shop to fix it. Must travel to Chatswood.

Learned today that there's decent free coffee at Blacktown Hospital!! And 2 new doctor/friends who I spent "working" day with, took time to ask about my past over lunch. Then marvelled & complimented me. Oh awww.

YL - back in Sydney & intern orientation

Made it through 2 days of non stop lectures from 8am-5pm complete with 30min talks on handwashing and 1 hr on disaster training (so to speak). But I think I know how to fill in the complex national medication chart now!

Also met some lovely new people & hopefully new friends. All UNSW people. God knows the USyd ones keep to their own groups. Lol. 2 more days of lectures to go. Is it a consolation that one is getting paid?

My ID badge picture is great! And it says "Dr" and "Medical Officer" *beam* 7 weeks to go to full validity! Woot.
