The coffee truck didn't make it to work today. Normally you can tell the city-office refugees, by the enmasse rising from seats as soon as the horn toots its merry tune.
Instead, there were a lot of suffering people.

Yes indeed! There has been talk of nachos, too.
Last week we went to the Coopers' Arms, partly because the D&S is cold in this sort of weather and partly because they've stopped selling jugs (which enrages the beer drinkers). The food is rather good there (though on the pricey side).
