A swim in the ocean at this time of year? How was the water?
I've been keen to make atrip, but I've heard it's far too cold yet...
It was cold - cold enough it took me a while to stop shivering enough so I could pick up my coffee at the cafe afterwards, but not so cold I don't want to go back again
I'm confused - I thought you didn't like the sun and hence the beach!
I think the trick is full immersion. If you hang around the edge with your ankles in the water, it remains so cold to be painful. Well it was two weekends ago.
Jen - its just the sun I don't like. So we have to get to the beach early before the suns rays have time to get really nasty.
I've always said Oz beaches would be so much nicer if they would erect giant shade cloths over them
