After months of Twilight, True Blood (the show and the books) and then flash backs to Lost Boys I am left wondering, how can vampire stories have so much appeal while at the same time sucking SO MUCH??!?
Guess I'm off to watch Near Dark again ... cry little sister ...

This is a good question. I'm afraid I have no answer.
I've been fascinated by vampires since I first heard of them ... although I will admit that the "Western" vampires are much more romantic than the Chinese hopping ones!! lol =)
Maybe the short answer is "It's cultural!"
